Bastard 2025

17-20 September 2025 - Rosendal Teater, Trondheim

Bastard 2025 brought international and Norwegian performance together with conversations, shared meals, walks, parties and workshops across Rosendal Teater and Trondheim.

The edition continued the festival’s move away from a conventional showcase model towards a more porous festival ecology: one in which access, hosting, artistic risk, local partnerships and the social life around the work are treated as part of the artistic proposition.

The programme included work by artists and collectives from Norway and abroad, alongside Bastard Brunches, a closing collaboration with HEIM festival, What is the good life?, and access formats including sign-language interpretation and relaxed approaches.
