Founded and curated by Alexander Roberts and Sigurður Arent Jónsson.
The Public Space Programme was an artistic and curatorial research platform situated in Reykjavík and London. Through workshops, labs, residencies and performances, it worked with young and established artists to research the meeting point between the performing arts and public space.
Artists included Ant Hampton, Gob Squad, Tim Etchells, Richard Dedomenici, Kviss Búm Bang, Anna Asplind and Iceland Love Corporation.
Activities took place in houses and spaces across both cities, initiated in collaboration with artFart festival and Battersea Arts Centre in London.
