Little Bastard was a concentrated international performing arts festival at Rosendal Teater in May 2022.
The edition reopened the Bastard format after the pandemic period as a smaller, compressed festival: a way of bringing international work, bodies and audiences back into the theatre while testing how the festival could change under a new artistic direction.
It sat inside a spring season that placed disability, participation, dance, international exchange and expanded ideas of who the theatre is for at the centre of Rosendal’s programme.
