Reykjavík Dance Festival partnered with LÓKAL to bring together artists from Iceland and abroad whose work challenged and stretched dominant modes of performance.
The programme created conditions for artists to develop work in significant conversation with the city and those dwelling in it, localising global questions through how work was situated, presented, developed and reflected upon.
Participating artists included Margrét Bjarnadóttir, Halla Ólafsdóttir, John Moström, Tom Luz, The Professional Amateurs, Milkywhale, Stina Nyberg, Zoe Poluch, Gígja Jónsdóttir, João Galante and Ana Borralho, Kriðpleir, Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, Ásrún Magnúsdóttir, Zachery Oberzan, Anna Kolfinna Kuran, Vincent Riebeek, Florentina Holzinger, Erna Ómarsdóttir and Damien Jalet.
