GRRRRRLS

2015

Teenage girls turn vulnerability, attitude and solidarity into a collective stage presence.

Turning thirteen, everything changed. We got teenage, we got problems, we got loved, and then we got loved again by someone else. We got to know things about things that you’ll never know, because we’re teenage girls and that’s not something just anyone can say.

Concerned with what female solidarity can mean for a group of teenage girls, Ásrún searches for answers among a crew of real-life dancing teenage girls. What does it mean for them to speak as one? What should they say? What does it mean to stand together, to back one another up, to be all for one and one for all?
